Białystok University of Technology undertakes to ensure the accessibility of the moodle.pb.edu.pl website in accordance with the Act of 4 April 2019 on digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities. The accessibility statement applies to the Sandbox Moodle website.

The website is partially compliant with the Act on digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities due to the following incompatibilities or exclusions.

  • Due to the structure of the website, it may happen that alternative texts have not been added to the graphics.
  • There may be times when the forms are not fully digitally accessible. Work is currently underway to ensure the availability of these elements.
  • It may happen that the elements the clicking of which causes the link to start in a new window/ tab of the web browser do not inform about it. Work is currently underway to ensure the availability of these elements.
  • Some website elements may have too little contrast.
  • The ability to navigate using the keyboard needs to be refined.
  • There is no mechanism such as skip links used to skip certain sections (blocks) on the website.

Everyone has the right to request that a website, a mobile application or any of their elements be digitally available. You can also request information to be made available in alternative forms, for example to get a digitally unavailable document read, to have the content of the video without audio description described, etc. The request should contain the data of the person submitting the request, an indication of which website or mobile application it is meant and the method of contact. If the requesting person reports the need to receive information in an alternative form, he should also specify the form of this information.

The public entity should execute the request immediately and no later than within 7 days. If it is not possible to meet this deadline, the public entity shall immediately inform about the date when it is possible to fulfil the request, and the deadline may not be longer than 2 months. If accessibility cannot be ensured, the public entity may propose an alternative way of accessing the information.

In the event that the entity refuses to comply with the request to ensure the availability or alternative access to information, a complaint may be made against such action.

After exhausting all possibilities, the complaint can also be sent to the Ombudsman.
